Nagaland artistes to take stage in Singapore

Kohima, September 20 (MExN): Nagaland’s growing creative and cultural presence is taking centre stage at Music Matters, one of Asia’s leading music industry events, with a standalone showcase titled “Made in Nagaland” on October 3 at Singapore.

The showcase is featuring leading Naga artistes Street Stories, Moko Koza, Gluttones and Shau Evans, who are performing on the Main Stage and presenting the diversity, energy and contemporary sound of Nagaland to an international audience.

The showcase reflects Nagaland’s growing global-facing outlook and its continued efforts to take its music, talent and creative identity to international platforms.

The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for his vision and continued support in taking Nagaland’s creative talent to the world.

TaFMA also acknowledged Music Matters for creating this international platform and opening new opportunities for Nagaland’s artistes and music ecosystem, and Fastrack and Titan Company Limited for their support and belief in Nagaland’s creative journey.

With “Made in Nagaland,” the state continues to take its creative story from roots to routes, and from Nagaland to the world, according to TaFMA chairman Theja Meru.
