
New Delhi, October 19 (MExN): Following the Diwali celebrations, the Nagaland Tourism Department, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is set to host the 4th edition of the Autumn Festival on October 24 and 25 in New Delhi.
The Autumn Festival, as a curtain-raiser to the 26th edition of the Hornbill Festival, the Autumn Festival aims to offer Delhi residents a glimpse of the vibrant Naga culture, especially for those unable to travel to the state.
Kapil Mishra, Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture, Government of NCT Delhi, will grace the event as the chief guest.

Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, stated that the festival returns “encouraged by the overwhelming response” from previous editions. He described the event as both “an experience and an invitation” to strengthen cultural bonds.
The festival will showcase a diverse array of Naga brands, cuisine, handicrafts, textiles, and art. Attendees can experience live weaving demonstrations, sample traditional Naga food, and view presentations of jewellery and textiles redesigned for a global audience.

The event will feature live musical performances by artists including Colored Keys, The Mahila Band from India’s Got Talent, and The Eastory Project, among other choirs and bands from Nagaland.
Participating brands and departments include Made in Nagaland, Kintem, Department of Sericulture showcasing award-winning Eri Silk, Department of Horticulture, and Department of Tribal Affairs.

The first day of the festival will be an exclusive, invitation-only affair, while the second day will be open to the general public.
The Hornbill Festival, which the Autumn Festival previews, was launched in 2000 and has since grown into a landmark cultural event in India, stated PRO NH, New Delhi in a press release.
