Nagaland BJP holds preparatory meet for Good Governance Day

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 30 (MExN): The BJP Nagaland state held a preparatory meeting for National convention and Good Governance Day on December 29 at the state head office Kohima.


During the program, Nagaland BJP President and Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along said Nagaland BJP is a National party with a regional outlook. He encouraged the party workers to leave aside the differences and work together for stronger prospect.


Imna stressed on the Good Governance Day saying, “A person’s birthday is decided by God not man”, Thus India celebrates good governance day in honor of Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee whose birthday falls on December 25.


He said Vajpayee was not only a politician but a great poet, orator and statesman who brought trajectory program to Nagaland. The BJP President further encouraged the party workers to practice humility and accountability with given responsibilities. Imna also lauded the 12 full time workers for their tireless service rendered to the party which led to big success of the party in the state.


Earlier in the program, all District and Morcha presented their reports which were followed by a discussion led by Ananta Narayan Mishra, Organising Secretary, on forthcoming BJP National convention scheduled on January 11 and 12. The program was led by Kuputo Shohe, Chief Spokesperson.
