Nagaland’s BJP spokesperson Samuel Sumi today informed that the BJP in Nagaland has been doing its best by rendering humanitarian services to the public during this COVID 19 pandemic.
Amid rising cases of COVID 19 cases in Nagaland particularly in Kohima and Dimapur, Nagaland government has imposed a week long lockdown from May 14 to May 21.
Addressing a press conference here today, Sumi said that the charity drive will start soon and sought the support of each and every individual to help the poor and the needy during the lockdown period.
Nagaland’s BJP state co- chief spokesperson Nini Cheng stated that Nagaland BJP ST Morcha will be extending ‘One Time Meal’ to the frontline workers from May 15, starting with Kohima.
Similar service will be extended the rest of the districts, she said.
The state BJP Mahila Morcha will also be distributing free masks to the general public.
Sapralu Nyekha, convenor media cell, state BJP Nagaland said the BJYM will continue with its blood donation drive.

W Ngampa Konyak, spokesperson state BJP Nagaland and Noklak District in- charge said asserted that the BJP government is doing great under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda to fight against COVID- 19 pandemic in India.
He said that in Nagaland, under presidentship of Temjen Imna Along, the karyakartas of Nagaland state BJP has been work tirelessly, giving selfless service to the people of Nagaland.
Till date, Nagaland State BJP distributed 2,82,500 face masks, distributed 3,34,650 food packs, distributed 2,50,734 ration kits and provided 25,180 litres hand sanitizers.
