Nagaland Board exams from Feb 12

Kohima, December 3 (MExN): The annual Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLC) and Higher Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) in Nagaland will kick off from February 12, 2024 and end by March 6.

The HSSLC Examination 2024 is scheduled from February 13-March 6 2024, while for the HSLC, the examination will be held from February 12-23, informed the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE). 

According to the Board, a total of 17,907 candidates are enrolled for the class 12 examination comprising of 14,311 (Arts), 969 (Commerce) and 2,623 (Science).

The candidates will be taking the exams at 68 examination centres across the State.  Additionally, 274 candidates will appear under the Compartmental category in 13 examination centres.

Simultaneously, the Class XI Promotion Examination 2024 will be conducted from February 12 in the afternoon (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm) alongside the HSSLC Examination.

A total of 20,166 students have enrolled for Class XI, and they will participate in 185 registered higher secondary schools across the State, the Board said.  For the HSLC Examination 2024, 22,152 candidates have been registered and they are scheduled to sit for their examination at 95 centres. Another 449 candidates will take the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2024 at 15 examination centres.

Heads of institutions, teachers, and students have been urged to visit the portal to download the schedules and plan their study schedules accordingly, the NBSE added.
