Nagaland Budget to be presented on March 26

The Nagaland government is set to present its state budget for the financial year 2026-27 on March 26. 

The announcement was made by Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Speaker Sharingain Longkumer on Thursday, following the conclusion of the first phase of the ongoing budget session.

The second phase will tentatively commence with the presentation of the State Budget for the year 2026-27. After the completion of the day’s business, Speaker NLA, Sharingain Longkumer adjourned the House until March 25. He also informed the members that the second phase of the Eighth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly will resume on March 26.
