KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) on Sunday ordained Muleto Nienu, Field Evangelist of the Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC), as Reverend at Chakhesang Christian Revival Church, Upper PWD, Kohima.
The act of ordination was administered by Rev Z. David Koza, Executive Secretary, CCCRC, and member of the NCRC Ordination Board, who conducted the priestly oath of allegiance. Rev Zaseyi Veswuh, Chairman of CCCRC, highlighted the significance of ordination, drawing parallels with the biblical anointing of Saul by Samuel, and urged Rev Nienu to serve with humility and dedication. He also called on the congregation and family members to support the ordained minister in his mission.
Rev Senuto Ringa, General Secretary of NCRC, described ordination as a divine calling to advance God’s Kingdom and reach out to the unreached. The bio-data of Rev Nienu was presented by Rev Vekhohu Dawhuo, detailing his 37-year ministry, including roles as Associate Pastor at CCRC Upper PWD, President of CCCRC Youth and Children Associations, President of Theological Fellowship, and Field Evangelist since 2021. Rev Nienu had earlier received his ministerial license in 2018.
The ceremony featured special songs by CCCRC Field Staff, Mission Centre Chetheba, Parents’ Choir of Chesezu Welfare, and CCRCYF Upper PWD, Kohima.
