Kohima, February 1 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio has expressed sorrow and extended condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the tragic bus accident that occurred between 10 Mile and Peducha in Kohima district on the night of January 31.
Condoling the untimely demise of members of the Chümoukedima Ao Baptist Church, the Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased, the State DIPR informed.
He also announced financial assistance of Rs 50,000 each for those who sustained serious injuries in the accident and conveyed his wishes for their speedy recovery.
