Kohima, November 2 (MExN): Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio expressed his grief over the demise of Vicky Sakhrie, wife of the late Dr H Vizadel Sakhrie, former Minister of the Government of Nagaland, on November 1.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Sakhrie as a woman of remarkable patience, kindness, and generosity.
He noted that she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose unwavering support was a pillar to her husband throughout his political journey.
Highlighting her faith and values, CM Rio said Sakhrie guided her children with humility and kindness, and her legacy of faith and devotion would continue to inspire those who knew her.
It further underscored the void left by her passing while urging people to cherish the memories of her life.
CM Rio also extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, praying that Almighty God grants them solace and courage to bear the irreparable loss, and wished that the departed soul rests in eternal peace.
