Under the aegis of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) and National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland today undertook a free mask distribution in the state capital Kohima.
The free mask distribution marked the 30th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
NPCC general secretary (Frontal and organization in-charge) S Supongmeren Jamir said that late Rajiv Gandhi always stood for the service of the humanity.
To show respect to him, the NPYC and NSUI Nagaland under the aegis of NPCC undertook the mask distribution in Kohima and Dimapur.
With strict adherence to COVID-19 SOPs, few volunteers of NPYC and NSUI Nagaland carried out the task of distributing free mask to people at the various locations in Kohima.
Jamir also told media persons that the Congress in Nagaland will also be making efforts to reach out to the needy people in other parts of the State during the COVID-19 pandemic.
