Dimapur, September 6 (MExN): A delegation from Nagaland consisting of Deo Nukhu, Advisor, Art & Culture, New & Renewable Energy and Science & Technology as the team leader, Vikho-o Yhoshu, Advisor, Information Technology & Communication, I. Himato Zhimomi, Commissioner & Secretary, Art & Culture and Tourism, KT Sukhalu, Secretary Information Technology & Communication and Daniel Krocha, Program Officer, IT&C is currently attending the India Global Partnership Summit 2011 (September 5 to 7) in Tokyo.
The day one opening session started with a welcome address from the founder & Director General, India-Japan Global Partnership Summit while an official message of Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India was read out by the Ambassador of India to Japan. The Summit was also addressed by many dignitaries including four former Prime Ministers of Japan including Shinzo Abe, Yukio Hatoyama, Yoshiro Mori and Naoto Kan besides Sam Pitroda, Chairman of India Japan Global Partnership Summit, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman Reliance Industries Ltd, Takashi Shoda, Chairman South Asia Regional Committee and Sahguru Jaggi Vasudev, Founder Isha Foundation respectively.
The Plenerary sessions included various topics on Agriculture, Investment, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Policy, Technology, Information Communication Technology, Environment and Energy and Tourism and Hospitality.
India-Japan Global Partnership Summit 2011 is envisioned as a summit of two great nations - where various leaders of society from both nations can interact and exchange ideas in very conducive environment to produce a Micro Road Map for the Macro Vision which exists in the form of India-Japan Global Partnership.
