Nagaland govt to review impact of Communitization

Noklak, September 23 (MExN): Chairperson, Panel for Review of Communitization of Public Institutions & Services Act, 2002 Banuo Z Jamir, IAS (Rtd) stated that, government wants to find out what impact has the Communitization had made in the developmental processes in the village level. 

The chairperson was addressing the district level consultative meeting on panel for review of Communitization of Public Institutions & Services Act, 2002 was held at DC Conference Hall, Noklak on September 23. Banuo urged upon the line departments to take views of the village level and with the objective to find out how Communitization has impacted over the years.

A DIPR report stated that the chairperson handed over the questionnaire to all the line departments. While urging them to re-examine and give their own views and opinions, she informed them to submit the questionnaire on or before October 15.

The chairperson was accompanied by Member Secretary, panel for review of Communitization of public institutions & Services Act 2002, John Lohe and other officials.

Deputy Commissioner, Noklak Hiazu Meru chaired the meeting. Department officials from Schools Education, Health & Family Welfare, PHE, Power, Social Welfare, Rural Development and District Administrations attended the meeting.
