Nagaland Influencers Awards 2026 honours creators across 17 categories

Nagaland Influencers Summit 2026 edition featured panel discussions, workshops, creative activities, student engagement, community initiatives and networking opportunities.

Chümoukedima, September 14 (MExN): The second edition of the Nagaland Influencers Summit (NIS) 2026, themed “Beyond Influence, Creating Change Together,” concluded on Saturday.

The two-day summit, held on September 11 and 12 at Tetso College, Sovima Campus, Chümoukedima, and Agri Expo, Chümoukedima, brought together creators, artists, entrepreneurs, students, professionals and members of the public to explore the evolving role of influence beyond social media, stated a press release received here.

A major highlight of the summit was the Nagaland Influencers Awards 2026, which recognised individuals and creators across diverse fields including culture, education, arts, music, fashion, food, fitness, entertainment, photography, cinematography and social impact.

Kepozo Kapuh won the Campus Choice Award, Tir YimYim received the Media Integrity Award, Sammy Vlogs bagged the Social Impact Award, and Angule Mero was conferred the Emerging Talent Award. Chongpongmanen Ao received the Cultural Excellence Award, O Jungio the Education Excellence Award, Tee.crochet (Chong.tie) the Arts Excellence Award, Kohdi Jing Films the Cinematography Excellence Award, Thipuzo Kezo the Photography Excellence Award, and Eva Rongmei the Music Excellence Award.

Talitsuba Ao won the Fitness Excellence Award, Tiamongba Ajem the Fashion Excellence Award, Rovi Metha the Entertainment Excellence Award, Roko VN Makeup the Beauty Excellence Award, Thsalongse Sangtam the Adventure Explorer Award, and Mukaeats the Food Storytelling Award.

Thsalongse Sangtam also bagged the People’s Choice Award, which was determined through public voting and jury evaluation, allowing audiences to take part directly in recognising a personality who had made a strong impression through their work and influence.

The 2026 edition also featured panel discussions, workshops, creative activities, student engagement, community initiatives and networking opportunities, bringing together different sections of Nagaland’s creative and digital ecosystem.

One of the key highlights of this year’s summit was the Creators for Community Initiative, which brought creators and volunteers together for community-focused activities across different districts of Nagaland. The initiative reflected the summit’s larger message that influence can extend beyond digital platforms and translate into action within communities.

Building on the foundation laid by its inaugural edition, NIS 2026 continued its vision of creating a platform where influence is not measured only by reach and numbers, but also by creativity, responsibility, community engagement and meaningful contribution. The theme “Beyond Influence, Creating Change Together” represents NIS’s continuing effort to shift the conversation around influence—from followers, visibility and digital reach towards collaboration, responsibility and real-world impact.
