Kohima, November 11 (MExN): The Nagaland State Taxes Department has developed an application software for registration and payment of Professions Tax to facilitate ease of doing business, an official statement said on Tuesday.
The application software for registration has been rolled out with effect from October 1, 2025, and is available on the department's website www.nagalandtax.nic.in for access by all concerned.
All persons liable for registration and payment of Professions Tax have been directed to get themselves registered or enrolled using the new portal.
The department stated that a step-by-step process flow for registration, details on the class of persons applicable, the tax rates, and helpdesk information will be made available on the website for assistance.
