Nagaland Legislature’s celebrates Advent Christmas

Kohima, December 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislature’s Christian Fellowship celebrated its pre-Christmas at Banquet Hall this evening under the theme “Joy that will be for all people.”
Dr. Rev. Tseibu Rutsa, president, Leaders for Christ International in his message said Nagas seem to be religious without knowing the truth and urged the gathering to build the bond of relationship from home so that the younger generations will know the truth.
Rutsa said, “Let us bring Christmas to our home as not many people have happy Christmas”, and called upon the congregation to restore relationship, peace and happiness with the presence of Immanuel.
Minister for forest M.C. Konyak in his Christmas greetings said “it is time to retrospect and introspect” and urged the gatherings to ponder deeply and celebrate Christmas in the spirit of meditation, worship with commitment and with a sense of thanks giving to God for giving Jesus to redeem the sinners.
The service was led by Deo Nukhu, advisor, art & culture, science & technology, new & renewable energy while W. Kithan, parliamentary secretary for prisons, home guards, fire & emergency service invoked God’s blessing. Power minister Doshehe Y. Sema read out scripture from Bible.  The celebration witnessed special songs from Rengma Baptist Church Kohima and Leaders for Christ International. Vizolenuo Solo acted as pianist. State chaplain Rev. K. Luruo said benediction.
