NPCC Congress Bhavan to remain closed

Kohima, December 19 (MExN): In view of Christmas and New Year Celebrations, the office of NPCC Congress Bhavan, Kohima will remain closed from December 21 till January 10, 2019. This was informed in a press release by N Yona Konyak, General Secretary (Adm), NPCC.

 

Recruitment rally for 164 INF Battalion

Kohima, December 19 (MExN): 164 INF Battalion (TA) (H&H) NAGA will be organizing a recruitment rally at Public Ground, Tuensang (Nagaland) from February 22-23, 2019. Eligible candidates volunteering to join the Territorial Army are informed to report for screening at 0600, venue site. Physical and medical test of candidates will be held at the venue. The vacancies are for Soldier GD (10 & 12) (10th pass with minimum 45% marks aggregate & 33% in each subject or pass/qualified in 12th or above, and Soldier Clerk (Staff Duty) 12th pass with English and Math min 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in each subject. Candidate should be proficient in computer and typing knowledge. Age group of between 18-42 years can apply. Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical examination will undergo written examination.

 

DC Dimapur office celebrates advent Christmas

Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): Advent Christmas get together was held at Deputy Commissioner Office, Dimapur on December 18. Delivering Christmas greetings DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS said “Christmas is a day of happiness as it comes only once in a year and we should thank God for guiding throughout the year.” Office Superintendent, Longri Ao also spoke on the occasion. The programme included Christmas carol competition among officers, DIO and Election officer, staff group 1 ic Glory and Thejasevor, staff group II ic Wabang and Kekhrieyietuou and Dobashis. Staff group II was declared the winner followed by DIO and Election officer and staff group 1. Earlier the programme was invoked by SDO (C) Nyempo wallim. The programme concluded with Christmas hymn and mass prayer.

 

PSU presidential council meeting

Meluri, December 19 (MExN): An emergency presidential council meeting of Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) will be held on December 20, 10:00 am at Meluri. PSU President Er. Joyson Yitsüthu has requested all the affiliated unit president and subordinate bodies to attend the same positively.
