Pughoboto, December 29 (MExN): Government Middle School (GMS) building was inaugurated on December 18 by V. Yeshito Swu, SDEO, Pughoboto. In his speech, the SDEO said, “Education is a gift of God and plays a great role throughout our life.” “Getting proper education is very necessary to get success and happy life just like food is necessary for healthy body. Without proper education, one gets lack of all educational benefits in his/her life,” he stated. He urged the teachers to be sincere in disseminating quality education to students as they are the pillars of the nation. The teachers, community students and the teachers should work hand in hand for the upliftment of the school. Invocation was pronounced by Jekivi, Pastor, IBC followed by welcome address by Kavito K. Swu, VCC. Special number was presented by GPS, Iphonumi. Short speech was proposed by Nagho Kinimi, GB and Vikuho Swu, P/T and benediction was delivered by Ghokuto, Pastor NCRC. The programme was chaired by Vikuto Swu.

 

Teen’s Dance Hunt at Wokha on January 12

Wokha, December 29 (MExN): The Griffin Motors is organizing Teen’s Dance Hunt on January 12, 2019 at the Youth Centre, DBHSS, Wokha at 6:00 pm. The winner will win a cash prize of Rs. 25000 with certificates followed by Rs. 20000 and Rs. 10000 respectively for first and second runners up respectively. Judges’ Pick Award and Top Choreography Award each carrying cash award of 3000 rupees and certificates will be also awarded. Ren Naga, Proprietor, Griffin Motors, Wokha in a press release informed that during the show, GG Crew a prominent dance group from Assam and Obed Sumi a beat Boxer from Dimapur will make special appearances. The support team for the competition is Ren Naga, Nchumbemo Humtsoe, Enija Kikon and Toniho Sumi. The entry fee to the competition are rupees 2000 for group entrants and rupees 1500 for individual entrant. Participants can register on or before January 10, 2019 at Griffin Motors, Wokha.
