DSSU informs

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The Office of Dimapur Sümi Students Union (DSSU) has informed all the units, sub-units and higher secondary level under DSSU to forward the details of the toppers’ name, subject toppers 80% and above, name of the institution to Educational Secretary for the upcoming felicitation programme. DTO Zunheboto informs vehicle owners

Zunheboto, September 18 (MExN): District Transport Officer, Zunheboto, Bendang Longkumer has informed all the vehicle owners having other State Registration Mark to mandatorily re-assign their vehicle according to MV Act 1988 Sec 47(1), wherein it states that vehicles with other State Registration Mark should not be kept in another state for a period not exceeding 12 (twelve) months. Henceforth, all the vehicle owners with other state registration mark in the district is directed to re-assign their vehicle within 60 (sixty) days from the date of this order, so as to avoid penalties under relevant sections of the M.V. Act 1988.  

Home Department notifies

Kohima, September 18 (MExN): The Home Department in a circular has informed that all the Government officials who are entitled government vehicles have been requested to collect the Form of Colour Coded Car Stickers along with the name of the official, designation, vehicle registration number, type and colour of vehicle from the Home Department, Political Branch.  

NCSA new office bearers elected

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): Nagaland Civil Services Association (NCSA) new office bearers for the term 2018-19 has been elected with W. Honje Konyak as President, Limawabang Jamir as Vice President, Vikhweno Chale as General Secretary and four other members. SMC annual campus revival held

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): Sakus Mission College, Dimapur held its annual campus revival on September 14 and 15 at the college auditorium. The theme of the revival was “Repent Revive Restore” and the speakers for the two days revival were Rev. Tiyong Kichu, Missionary and Sentilong Ozüküm, EAC Medziphema. The praise and worship was led by DABAYM Worship Team and the students were supported in prayer and counselling by Arenla Changki and R. Nuklu from Silas Care Center. “Many students surrendered their lives to the call of Christ and made fresh commitments to dedicate their lives for the cause of God’s kingdom,” the worship committee stated in a press release while acknowledging the management and teaching staff for their contribution and co-operation.  

PDTA office bearers’ election on Sept 26

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): Election Commissioner and members of Phek District Timber Association (PDTA) held a meeting and decided to hold election on September 26 to elect new office bearers of PDTA at Pfutsero PDTA office, near PWD office. Henutsu Vero, Election Commissioner PDTA in a press release has requested all bonafide members, advisory board members, audit committee board members of PDTA to attend the meeting positively.  

PTCSU inter-school literary day held

Kohima, September 18 (MExN): The Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) has successfully organized Inter-School Literary Day on September 17 last at Badminton Stadium, Phek Town. The event was marked by spelling bee, quiz, essay writing, painting and sketching. Gracing the inaugural function, Phek ADC Avelu Ruho emphasized the students to set boundaries on the proper usage of social media, mobile phones and television in a constructive manner. Around 600 students attended the programme.
