AHODs & HODs meeting on April 30
Kohima, April 28 (DIPR): A meeting of all the Administrative Heads of Department and Heads of Department is convened on April 30 at 1 p.m. in the Secretariat Conference Hall. Chief Secretary Banuo Z. Jamir IAS has in a Circular No. SAB (A)-12/26/06(Pt) dated Kohima the 25th April 2014 requested all the AHODs and HODs to attend the meeting without fail.
ATMA Pfütsero conducts field day and demonstrations
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): ATMA, Pfütsero block, Phek district, comprising four officials has conducted field day and demonstrations for farmers at Zapami village on April 14 last. ltogether 15 farmers participated. Resource person Liza Barua Bharali, SMS, Plant Protection, KVK, Phek with a field day topic “Insect-Pest Management in Cabbage” demonstrated on the use of organic products for insects and pests in cabbage while another resource person Keniseto Chücha, Farm Manager, KVK, Phek demonstrated soil solarisation and cabbage nursery management. Farmers of Pfütsero are popularly known for fair production of green vegetables and fruits. The programme was conducted successfully. This was stated in a release issued by Moalemba Walling, project director, ATMA & DHO, Phek.
Friends of 80 Plus foundation day
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The 9th foundation day of Friends of 80 Plus will take place on April 30 at Vimedo Rütsa Kitie, P. Khel at 10:30 AM. Social activist Niketu Iralu will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Greetings will be shared by Khrienguü Kesiezie, president Kewhimiapfü Mechü Krotho while Pelesielie Khezhie & family will offer gift to Friends of 80 Plus. The function will be chaired by Neidonuo Angami while Zeneizo Rutsa, chairman P. Khel will propose vote of thanks. The programme will be followed by feast hosted by Pfuchatsumia khel. Further, there will be a medical check up and care for 80 plus citizens sponsored by Kohima Village Doctors Association.
KLLRU 10th triennial conference held
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The 10th triennial conference of the Kohima Lotha Lower Range Union (KLLRU) was held at Highland Park, Kohima on April 26 last with MLA Mmhonlumo Kikon, chairman MARCOFED as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Kikon expressed appreciation to the members for having the zeal to live in unity and for creating such a platform to introspect and retrospect oneself. He enlightened vision towards streamlining of governance and prioritizing developmental activities for speedy uplift of rural masses. Earlier, Woben Kithan, Asso. Director CNY of KLBC invoked God’s blessing for the programme. Further, the Union has elected a new team of office bearers with Chonthungo Kikon as chairman, Alex Humtsoe- vice chairman, general secretary – Renbemo Kithan, joint secretary- Robin Yanthan, treasurer- Mhonrao Mozhui. Advisors- K. Elias Lotha, Thungbemo Mozhui, Dr. Limha Jami, Chumdemo Kikon, P.Y. Oving and T. Liban Patton.
KPC meeting on April 30
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club has informed that there will be a general body meeting on April 30, 2014 (Wednesday) at the KPC Conference Hall at 11:00 am. In this regard, it has requested all its members to attend the meeting positively.
SCERT to issue certificate to all qualified teachers of N-TET
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) today informed that it will issue certificate to all the qualified candidates of Nagaland Teacher Eligibility Test (N-TET) 2013 from May 5 to 9 at the office of the SCERT from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The qualified candidates are required to bring their original N-TET 2013 admit card. An amount of Rs. 100 will be collected for the certificate. Candidates who cannot collect their certificates personally may send an authorization letter along with the required documents. Certificates will not be sent by post, a release received here said. The release also added that certificate will not be issued under any circumstances unless all the requirements as mentioned are met.

Kohima, April 28 (MExN): SSATA Kohima district will hold an emergency meeting on April 29 at 1:00. pm, Khonoma Riipfhiino Building, D'Block (near central church) pertaining to latest development and relevant issues. “No lame excuse will be entertained and absentees will be sternly penalized,” the SSATA Kohima district informed in a press release.
