CM condoles with Kejong Chang
Kohima, May 4 (MExN): The chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio has expressed sadness over the news of the sudden demise of Siponglemba Chang, son of Parliamentary Secretary Kejong Chang at his private residence in Tuensang on May 4. In a condolence message, commissioner & secretary to chief minister, on behalf of the CM and his wife, conveyed heartfelt condolences to Kejong Chang and other members of the family. The note further wished God’s strength upon Chang and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
DDCF condemns border killing
Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): The Dimapur District Citizen Forum (DDCF) has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Supongtemjen Pongen allegedly by Assam Police near Indisen village on April 30, 2014. Joseph Lemtur, President, DDCF in a press statement condemned “the gross human rights violation by the Assam Police and appealed to the Human Rights Organization to take note of the incident as no one has the right to take the life of a person even if he has committed a crime.” The DDCF also appealed to the Dimapur police to take care of the citizens of Nagaland living in the border areas of Dimapur. The Forum further extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the soul of the deceased rest in peace.
SZYO asks owner to claim bike
Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): The rightful owner of the bike (Bajaj Pulsar 150) that was left abandoned/neglected at Sechü Zubza jurisdiction after the February 11 incident has been asked to claim the bike with all the necessary original documents. Sechü Zubza Youth Organization (SZYO) president Megoneituo Kielienyü and its general secretary Vineikho Sechü in a press release have asked the owner to claim the bike within 15 days from the publication of this notice, failing which, no further claims would be entertained.
