
ADC Mangkolemba bans hunting
Mangkolemba, November 30 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mangkolemba, T LankonsenTsanglao has informed all villages under Mangkolemba Sub-Division that hunting of all kinds have been outlawed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, and the killing of migratory birds such as the famed Amur Falcon would attract penal action. Further, the ADC directed the village council chairmen to report incidences of such nature to the concerned department, if they occur in their respective jurisdiction, informed a DIPR report.
Clean & decorate premises, DMC directs
Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming Hornbill Festival and Christmas as well as a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur on November 28, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has directed shops/ business establishment/institutions/residents within its jurisdiction to clean and decorate their respective premises. The DMC further directed for putting up decorative lights to illuminate the city during the festive seasons with effect from December 1.
ADC Dimapur notifies on ABPM-JAY CMHIS
Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has notified all Council Chairmen/Colonies GBs in Dimapur that operators of common service centre would be visiting village colony for ABPM-JAY CMHIS enrolment in few days time. Launched on October 14, the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (AB PM-JAY CMHIS), among others, provides free health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh per family annually. Accordingly, ADC Mhalo Humtsoe has requested the aforesaid entities to extend all possible support and cooperation to the team and mobilise maximum registration from their respective colony/village.
