NSCN (R) informs on recovered vehicle
Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) has informed that it had recovered an “abandoned” Maruti Gypsy bearing registration number: NL05 3007. In a notification issued through its Ministry of Kilo Affairs, the NSCN (R) informed the rightful owner of the vehicle to come forward and claim it by producing valid ownership proof and supporting documents at the time of collection.
EDTC bans unauthorised banners, hoardings and signages
Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has prohibited the unauthorised installation or display of banners, hoardings, signages and boards within its jurisdiction without prior permission from the council office.
The order has come into effect immediately, stated a press release from the Council on April 28.
Accordingly, the EDTC informed that any individual, institution, group or organisation found violating the order would be liable to penalty and strict action under the relevant rules and regulations.
ADC Wokha orders clearance of roadside for restoration work
Wohka, April 28 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Wokha has directed all shopkeepers, residents and individuals along the road stretch from Government High School Junction to Bailey Baptist College via Dr MM District Hospital and District Sub-Jail Road to remove materials and encroachments to facilitate road restoration work.
According to an official order issued by ADC Renbomo Ezung, the directive has been issued in view of the mitigation and restoration of the road section.
All concerned have been asked to clear construction materials, temporary structures, unused vehicles and any other form of obstruction along the route to ensure that the work proceeds without hindrance or delay.
The administration further directed the general public and commuters to comply with the order in the interest of public convenience, commuter safety and smooth completion of the project.
KVSU to conduct verification drive
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The Kohima Village Students' Union (KVSU), under the directives of its apex body- Angami Students' Union ASU) will be conducting a “Non-Local Verification Drive” within its traditional jurisdiction from April 29 to 30. The drive will be carried out from 10AM to 2 PM at the Kohima Village Council Hall, L Khel, Kohima Village.
Accordingly, the union has informed all non-locals residing temporarily or permanently within the jurisdiction of Kohima village have been directed to report for registration during the scheduled dates.
Students, government employees and ASU verification card holders are exempted from this verification process.
All concerned individuals have been requested to bring Aadhaar Card, Two passport-size photographs and valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) or any other relevant identification document during the verification.
The Union sought the cooperation of all concerned to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the drive.
