Advance Life Support (ALS) Ambulance, procured from ISUZU, was formally handed over to Raj Bhavan, Nagaland. The state-of-the-art vehicle is equipped with modern life-saving equipment and emergency care facilities to provide immediate medical assistance and strengthen healthcare preparedness.
BJP Mokokchung district President, O Tinu Longkumer, along with district party officials, visited Chungtia village to assess the damage caused by the recent landslide. During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with Chungtia Village Council. Longkumer assured the villagers of the Party’s solidarity during this difficult period and reaffirmed BJP Mokokchung’s fullest support to the Village Council in addressing the challenges and hardships arising from the disaster. Coordinated by the Department of Economics, the programme aimed to provide sustained financial awareness for students and faculty. The resource person, Isile Nza, Capacity Building Officer at the RBI Centre for Financial Literacy, Nagaland (CRISIL Foundation), discussed the importance of wise money management, future planning, and responsible financial behaviour. Red Cross Society Mokokchung district along with the general secretary Dr SS Akaba Longchar, treasurer and office assistant visited the houses affected by the recent landslide and extended their support to the victims at the Chungtia Village. During the visit, they assessed the situation, interacted with the families, and donated a cash of Rs 10000 to help them meet their immediate needs.
