KOT informs 

Kohima, July 23 (MExN): Kohima Ongpangkong Telongjem (KOT) has informed that NI Jamir Academic Excellence Award from Ao community who attained Top-20 position in the HSLC exam 2021 are requested to submit their bio-data/details to KOT General Secretary WhatsApp no. 7085683739 at the earliest.
 

Cong celebrates Olympics Opening 

Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Congress celebrated the 2021 Olympics Opening Ceremony at State Stadium, Dimapur on July with the goal to draw attention of the government to the prolonged completion status of the state stadium. NPCC President K Therie addressed the event. NK Naga, Tokhuli Yepthomi, Aloboli Kinimi, Lipok and Kevin Newar also performed. It was organized by NPYC and DCC Dimapur and supported by the Minority Department and Kissan Cell of NPCC and NSUI, DMCC and DYC.

FGN GOC Western Command mourns 

Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): The FGN GOC Western Command has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members of late Keneingulie Semou, Zhadima village who passed away at his native village on July 23. He was the Sub-Regional president of Northern Angami Sub-Region, NNC and faithfully served the Nation till his last breath. “His untimely demise was a great loss for the Nation and the vacuum created by his demise will be difficult to fill up. Yet his true sacrifice rendered for the Nation will remain alive in the history of the Nation,” Maj Gen Pezangulie Khelietsu, GOC, W/C FGN stated in the condolence note.

NSCN (IM) condoles Salem

Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): The NSCN (IM), Steering Committee, Convener has condoled the demise of YS Salem, Kilonser who passed away on July 22. The convener, Ashihi Asoumai in a press note said that late YS Salem was a dedicated woman who loved Naga Nation and displayed her patriotic spirit till her last breath. “The void created by her demise will be difficult to fill in,” it conveyed while expressing condolences to the bereaved family. 

It also mourned the demise of Vikheshe Yepthomi, Steering Executive Member, NSCN (IM) who breathed his last on July 22 at Guwahati after a prolonged illness. 

A condolence note said that late Vikheshe Yepthomi was a dedicated man who loved Naga Nation and displayed his patriotic spirit till his last breath. He gave his service for the Naga Nation from the year 1986 and served the Nation till the last moment of his lith. “The void created by his demise will be difficult to fill in.”
