GT seniority list last date extended
Kohima, July 2 (MExN): In continuation to the notification dated May 13, the Directorate School Education, Nagaland has notified that last date for registering claims/objections in regards to the Tentative Seniority List of Graduate Teachers with the respective DEOs/SDEOs is extended to July 31 in consideration of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. Failure to register claims/objections within the stipulated time limit shall be construed as validation of the entries and submission of claims/objections after the expiry of the stipulated time limit shall be treated as invalid and no complaints whatsoever shall be entertained thereafter, it stated.
‘Hindi teachers in deep financial crisis’
Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): Drawing the attention of the department concerned, the All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has stated that the Hindi teachers (2012-13 Batch) are “in deep financial crisis and in miserable condition.” ‘They are facing hardship to meet their day to day need,’ the Unit President, Petemo Lotha and General Secretary, H Daniel Sema highlighted while informing that the salaries of the Hindi teachers appointed 2012-13 have not been disbursed since March to June 2021. Therefore, ANHTU Dimapur Unit has appealed the department to take speedy action and disburse the pending salaries as early as possible.
Govt to provide free rice for another 5 months
Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): Additional Director Food & Civil Supplies, Sentirenla Longkumer has informed to all the stakeholders and beneficiaries of NFSA that the GoI, MoCA, F&PD has released additional allocation of food grains (rice) under PMGKAY (Phase-IV) for another period of five months (i.e. July 2021 to November 2021) for free distribution to the ration card holders under PHH & AAY including those covered under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) at 5 Kgs per month per person. “This is over and above the regular monthly allocation of foodgrains under NFSA,” Longkumer added.
