AHoDs and HoDs meeting on June 28

Kohima, June 27 (MExN): A meeting of the Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments will be held on June 28 at 1:00 pm in the Secretariat Conference Hall. The agenda Items are the Review of the agendas of the last meeting; 1st Nagaland CSR, Investment & Banking Conclave 2022, and any other agenda with the permission of the Chair. Therefore the Chief Secretary Nagaland has informed all AHoDs and HoDs to make it convenient to attend the meeting.

NSF to felicitate Naga toppers

Kohima, June 27 (MExN: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will be organising a special event to felicitate the Naga toppers in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2022 on June 30 at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Kohima at 12:00 noon. Mmhonlümo Kikon, Advisor, IT, Science & Technology, NRE and J Kumo Sha, Former President ANSAM & MLA, Government of Manipur will grace the occasion as the guest speakers. One arrested with 2520 cans of contraband beer in Dimapur

Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): In the early morning hours around 1:15 am on Sunday, the Excise Narcotic Cell enforcement duty party led by AIE Nokcha on routine checking (MVCP) on the Highway around Burma Camp area Dimapur, intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing regd no.NL07AC-6335. Upon checking the vehicle, a total of 2520 cans of contraband beer was found, informed an update from Katoho Sumi, DY Commissioner of Excise (NC) Nagaland. The driver identified as Mohammad, resident of Karbi Anglong, Assam was arrested and brought to the Excise Narcotic Cell Office for further investigation along with the seized contraband and the vehicle. The seized items were deposited in the Office Malkhana and the case is presently under investigation as per the relevant provisions of the NLTP Act 1989.
