ZSUK candle light vigil in Kohima
Kohima, March 29 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Students' Union Kohima (ZSUK) will be organising a candle light vigil at Old MLA Junction, Kohima on March 31 at 6:00 pm to honour the three martyrs who lost their lives at Lamhainamdi, Peren on March 22. Therefore, ZSUK has appealed to all sections of the society, including organisations and churches, to come and share solidarity with the Zeliangrong community and the bereaved families during this difficult time. Everyone is requested to come in traditional touch, the Union added.
TWUD condemns March 22 incident
Dimapur, March 29 (MExN): The Tenyimi Women Union Dimapur (TWUD) has condemned the March 22 incident at Lamhainamdi. The Union in a press release issued by its President, Neivi Khusoh and General Secretary, Tenyele Rengma have appealed for swift justice and immediate action from the government and the law enforcing agencies.
