Mokokchung, November 28 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe has informed that the Final Electoral Roll for 18 Wards of Mokokchung Municipality has been prepared following the Nagaland Municipal Election Rules, 2003, and is published on November 24. A copy thereof is available for inspection at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Office of the Mokokchung Municipal Council, and all the 32 Polling Stations in the MMC jurisdiction.
DC Kohima appeals to put up lights
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Hornbill Festival, Christmas, and New Year celebration, Deputy Commissioner Kohima has appealed to all the district heads of offices, wards, and business establishments under Kohima town to put up decorative and festive lights by December 1 to give a positive facelift to the city. All concerned have been requested to extend cooperation for the same.
DC Kohima informs on Statehood Day
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C in a circular has informed all the Heads of Department (HODs) to collect the Invitation Cards/Car Passes for the 60th Statehood Day Celebration from the Establishment Branch, Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima w.e.f November 29 during office hours. In another circular, the DC Kohima has informed all Heads of Offices posted in Kohima HQ and Goan Buras under Kohima Sadar (Urban & Rural) to compulsorily attend the celebration of 60th Statehood Day at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza.
NPF Zunheboto Div new office bearers inducted
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): NPF Zunheboto Division new office bearers were inducted during the visit of NPF President, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu to Zunheboto Division on November 24. It was administered by Working President, Dr Huskha Yepthomi. NPF Press Bureau in a press release stated that the whole body of the Zunheboto Division and including the ACs under the division were inducted during the occasion.
Planning & Coordination designates PIOs
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): Government of Nagaland has designated the officers as First Appellate Authority (FAA), Public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information (APIO) in the State Planning Machinery under Planning & Coordination Department. The designated officers are as follows: FAA - N Nlumo Murry Deputy Development Commissioner; PIO- Chorayi Veyie Asstt. Development Commissioner; APIO- Atu Vasa Planning Officer.
Removal of off-road vehicles construction materials in Khm
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): Regarding the removal of off-road vehicles and road side dumped-construction materials and subsequently on expiry of the deadline period, Deputy Commissioner Kohima in an Order stated that the removal of such obstructions from the public road shall commence from November 28 and will continue till the exercise is complete. The following DBs have been detailed to assist the police for the entire duration of the exercise.
