Block Convergence Action Plan Committee comprising of various line departments under Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyaan launched Poshan Maah and organized Poshan Rally in Mangkolemba ADC Office complex on September 1. Kedalu Sebu EAC, SMO CHC, CDPO and ICDS functionaries, Panchayat members, Youth leaders, AWWs, AWHs participated in the programme.

The Zeliangrong Mipui Organisation (N) held its general session cum election at JTWWO hall, Jalukie town on August 31. A total of 120 delegates attended the session which was hosted by Jalukie Town Women Welfare Organization. The house elected a new president Apeuna Iheilung, general secretary Aluile Hegui and five vice-presidents including Kiheiyile Hegui, Leihungle, Kangpeusile, Insile and Sangneule. The house also elected other members of the executive.

The Department of Science and Technology bade farewell to retiring Office Superintendent Tongcheo Ngully on August 31 at the Directorate of Science & Technology, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Senior Scientific Officer Er Kevitso Kenneth and S Director Wonchio Odyuo delivered a speech on behalf of the department where he expressed gratitude to the retiring officer for his tireless service to the department and congratulated him for achieving a milestone. Short speeches were delivered by Senior Technical Officer Telaknaro, Science Officer Richard Rikhio, Under Secretary Libanthung Patton, Scientist ‘D’ Dr Nesatalu Hiese and  Astt Superintendent Sukhato.

The annual celebration of the nationwide Poshan Maah 2021 for Chiephobozou Block was flagged-off by Chiephobozou ADC Vekhoyi Chakhesang. CDPO Dzüziengulie Terhüja, addressed the gathering and apprised the Anganwadi Workers on the activities that need to be conducted during the celebration such as plantation activities under Poshan Vatika, Yoga and Ayush for Nutrition, Identification of SAM/MAM, Anemia screening, Poshan Panchayat.
