Imliakum Aier & The Electric Cool Kid, Nagaland performs at Toyota Hornbill Music Festival on December 3 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. Powerfaith and Gingerfeet  Band will perform on December 4 at the same venue at 5:00 pm.

Visitors engaged in Aadhaar enrolment and updation at the Hornbill Festival, Kisama at the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre which is being facilitated the Guwahati Regional Office through the Home Department, Government of Nagaland. According to the officials here, aadhaar enrolment and updation (biometric and demographic) can be done for any citizen of India irrespective of being a resident here or domestic tourist. The centre can facilitate upto 150 new enrolment and 200 updation in a day and will be there till the end of the festival at Kisama. (Morung Photo)

The prize distribution for state level exhibition-cum-competition of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and spices was held on December 3 at Hortiscape Kisama. A total of 101 entries participated in the flower competition category while 293 participants took part in the fruits, vegetables, and spices category. The winners received cash prizes along with certificates. Director for Horticulture, Y Bongti Konyak graced the event, stated a DIPR report. The panel of judges were Joint Directors of Agriculture, S Yongchung Phom and Khriesezolie Kire, and Deputy Director, Agriculture, Rose Mary Ezung. Other judges also included Prof CS Maiti- Fruit Science, Dr Sentirela Jamir- Vegetable Science, Dr Graceli I Yepthomi- Spices, and Dr Rokolhou Keditsu- Flower. (Morung Photo)

Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Neiba Kronu on inaugurated multipurpose building at Khezhakeno village under Phek district on December 2. This multipurpose building is located at Lephfe Taza-o, Khezhakeno. Earlier, Rev C Ngochinyi Koza, pastor CRC Khezhakeno (Upper) pronounced dedicatory prayer. The programme was chaired by Khezhakeno VDB secretary Kolhoupe Koza while vote of thanks was proposed by Kevechiipe Koza, Area Education Officer, Pfutsero.
