Election Expenditure Monitoring training for the forthcoming Election 2023 was held in the DC office, Dimapur. ADC Chümoukedima, Dr Kuzonyi Wideo launched a poster campaign under SVEEP activities in Chümoukedima on January 11, to sensitise the general public on issues relating to voter awareness and electoral process for ensuring clean elections. The posters which are written both in English and Nagamese, were handed over to members of various organisations to be pasted at prominent places and auto rickshaws in all the villages under Chümoukedima district, besides the town. As part of SVEEP Campaign and in connection with the forthcoming Election 2023, Mobile Demonstration Van was flagged off by DC& District Election Officer Kohima, Shanavas C, at DC Office Complex Kohima on January 11. The demonstration was done at five locations within Kohima town to create awareness on the use of EVM and VVPAT. Altogether, 89 electors participated in the awareness programme. The Gorkha community of Medziphema town inaugurated their community hall with Zhaleo Rio, IAS (Retd), MLA & Advisor, Sericulture, Excise & Minority Affairs as the special guest on January 11. The inaugural function was chaired by Sanjay K Dutraj, President, GYASU Medziphema while Nobin Pradhan, President, Nagaland Gorkha Association, was the guest of honour and Suraj Dutraj, Pastor, NBC Medziphema Town offered the dedicatory prayer.

Jakhama Village Council, Chairman, Zhopo Richa released the booklet of 2nd amendment constitution (major amendment) of Jakhama Village Council during its first General meeting of 2023 at Council Hall, Jakhama village. Puzoto Sophie, pastor, Jakha Town Baptist Church prayed for the release of JVC Constitution and general meeting. The 2nd amendment committee of Yehzabo (Constitution) consisted of Kezhokhoto Savi, Advocate as Convenor and Saku Rolnu GB and Kikoviku Yosa as members.
