Ungma Senso Telongjem, Kohima organized the 8th Academic Excellence Award programme at Ungma Kiti, Kohima on August 31 to felicitate the meritorious Soyim students of Post Graduate Examination conducted by Nagaland University. At the brief event, the union recognized the achievement of Shipongngangla for securing Gold Medal in MA Sociology at the Nagaland University Post Graduate Examination 2025.

They interacted with the colony council members.Nagaland School Education and SCERT Advisor Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, along with Ward No.1 Councilor, EE & Urban Development department officials, contractors, and the residents of Perizie colony, inspects KMC dumping site road which has been badly affected due to sinking of the road on September 1. The road has sunk due to poor drainage system, and since August, leading to the closure of the road. The total affected area measured 120 feet. After inspection, work started to restore the road temporarily for the vehicles to ply.Eastern Naga Students' Federation (ENSF) conducted its 26th Federal Assembly held at Sangphur Village under Shamator District on August 29, hosted by YAA. The Federal Assembly discussed on many pertinent issues, stated a press release.
