All eligible beneficiaries in Pani Kheti under Beisumpuikam village, Peren district have been vaccinated with the first dose of COVID 19 vaccine. It was one of the vaccine resistant villages and hard to reach area under Peren district, but with constant effort of the health workers, ASHAs and AWWs, the village GBs and elders came forward with a determination to vaccinate all its eligible citizens with the COVID-19 vaccine to make the area 100% vaccinated. Accordingly a team of medical staff led by Setuonuo Sachü, CHO, Jalukie Zandi HWC visited the village on September 18 and vaccinated the remaining eligible beneficiaries. Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE) Kohima, conducted a one-day focus group discussion on classroom issues for the teachers teaching at the higher secondary level of schooling at MITE’s Conference hall, on September 18.
