In celebration of National Education Day with the theme “Celebrating the Right to Learn” supported by Scientific Vision Centre, New Delhi, Can Youth organised the programme at Government Middle School in Ragailong Colony, Burma Camp on November 11. Nuye Nyekha Senior Project Manager, Can Youth spoke on the transformative power of education, inspiring students to pursue knowledge as the path to personal and community growth. The greetings were also read out sent by the Project Director of Scientific vision centre, New Delhi Shitaljit Sapamcha. The programme included a slogan competition on education, allowing students to showcase their creativity.
A fire broke out in Forest Ward, Kiphire town around 9:30 - 10:00 am on November 11 and gutted down a kutcha house. An investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire. No human loss was reported. The internship was held from October 1 to 31 at Shoppers Stop Dimapur and Reliance Smart Point Kohima. The students were expected to learn the roles and responsibilities of different positions in a Retail Store and their daily tasks.
