Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, accorded farewell to outgoing joint director Teisobou Sekhose on February 28at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports, Kohima. S Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, Anthony Ngullie, Commissioner & Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, Kethosituo Sekhose, Director, Youth Resources & Sports and several others representing YROs, DSOs, staff and coaches also spoke at the programme. The Advisor formally handed over the completed pension papers to Teisobou Sekhose. The Department of Agriculture, Nagaland, organised a farewell ceremony to honour of C Peter Yanthan, Director of Agriculture, on his retirement. The event, held at the Directorate of Agriculture, was attended by officials and colleagues. The programme, chaired by S Yongchang Phom, Additional Director, featured a special speech by Wezope Kenye, IAS, Agriculture Production Commissioner. Sanuzo Nienu, Additional Director of Agriculture, presented a service profile of Yanthan. L Mhao Lotha, Joint Director and AOAN President, L Mongsanger Imchen, DAO, Phek, and Besuhu Dawhuo, Registrar also spoke during the function. In his farewell speech, Yanthan expressed gratitude to his colleagues and encouraged continued efforts in advancing agriculture in Nagaland.
