The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) held its inaugural Board of Advisors meeting on January 18 at Chümoukedima. Key issues were discussed including strategies for supporting women-led businesses, policy advocacy, mentorship programs, and partnership with Government and industry. The advisors shared valuable insights and strategies to strengthen the organisation's vision and mission, driving impactful growth and promote a sustainable ecosystem. The WENN Board of Advisors includes Mezivolu Therie, Tiakala Ao, Ovi Yeptho, Visakhonü Hibo and Kenierienuo T Zatsu.
The teachers and students of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, celebrated the 128th Birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The programme was started with universal peace prayer sung by the students followed by garlanding to the portraits of Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Subhas Chandra Bose by PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee and Ashok Kumar Ray respectively. Taking note of the requirement projected by the Sechuma Youth Organization as well as Village council, 78 Bn CRPF procured a Portable Toilet and constructed Septic Tank in a site proposed by village council near public ground at Sechuma. The Portable Toilet with Septic Tank after construction and installation was formally handed over to Sechuma Youth Organization by WR Josuah, Commandant-78 Bn CRPF in the presence of Officers and men of 78 Bn, Village Council members and villagers of Sechuma. Assam Rifles organised Wreath Laying Ceremony at Unit War Memorial, Kohima on January 22 to remember and honour the fallen heroes Rifleman (General Duty) late Wings (Sena Medal) and Rifleman (General Duty) late Ginlalven Ngahite who made supreme sacrifice on January 22, 2017 at general area Wara-One Village in Jairampur, Arunachal Pradesh in a firefight with insurgents. A total of 160 personnel paid rich tributes. On the occasion of Wreath Laying Ceremony, Commandant spoke to the family of the braveheart and conveyed gratefulness to the families of fallen heroes.
