The School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus, through its Farmers Cell (FC), organized an “On-Farm Demonstration on Seed Treatment and Integrated Pest Management on Summer Crops” at Sirhima Village on March 10.  The Technical session on “Seed Bio-Priming and Seedling Dibbling” was conducted by Dr Hijam Meronbala Devi, Assistant Prof & Farmer Cell Member, from the Plant Pathology (PLP) Department. The session on “Integrated Pest Management” was conducted by Dr Sabbithi Pavan, Assistant Prof & Farmer Cell Member from the Department of Entomology. The Q&A session addressed doubts, providing clarity to participants.

The Research Forum, Department of English, St Joseph University, Chümoukedima organised a lecture on ‘research publication and ethics’ on. March 20. The resource person, Dr Rukulu Kezo, Founder and Chief Instructor, CUE Academy, Centre for Person – Centred Education, and Assistant Professor, Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima delivered a lecture on “Research Publication and Ethics”. The speaker emphasised the importance of Ethics in Research Publication, highlighting the consequences of plagiarism, falsification, fabrication and data manipulation. The discussion hour was moderated by Imchenmeren (Research Scholar). 
Sakus Mission College conducted its annual sports from March 5 to 8 under the theme “Unleash the athlete within.” The event commenced with opening ceremony of torch lighting and speech by the guest of honour, Chumyani Ovung, Agricultural Officer SDAO, Baghty Wokha.
