Japfü Christian College, Kigwema representing NYKS Nagaland secured second position in Food Festival Cooking Competition in the recently concluded 8th North East Youth Festival Held at Gangtok, Sikkim.

Norman Putsure College, Chümoukedima in collaboration with Young Indians (YI) and Startup Nagaland under the Department of Industries and Commerce, hosted the 2025 Studentpreneur awareness programme on March 24. The resource speakers were Myanthung Mgullie Director, Hubshed Services OPC Private Limited, Imesen Jamir EduCentre, Hinoto Chophy Founder, GoGivers Services Private Limited, and Mhao Kikon (Academic Counsellor, Toppers Academy. Students engaged in the discussions, gaining practical knowledge about startup culture and business growth.
Nagaland University conducted the State Level Eligibility Test (SET) at the School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS), Medziphema campus, on March 23. A total of 298 candidates appeared for the examination across 20 different subjects. The SET serves as a crucial qualification for candidates aspiring to apply for the post of Assistant Professor in their respective disciplines. The examination was conducted under the supervision of Prof KK Jha, Coordinator and Prof Tongpang Longkumer, Asst Coordinator. Prof Dipak Sinha, In-Charge Pro-Vice-Chancellor, also visited the examination center to oversee the proceedings. Prof L Daiho, Dean was present during the examination period.
The Department of Sociology, Sao Chang College Tuensang undertook field study at Longra village and Longsingon March 22. A group of 34 students from final year semester, accompanied by three faculty members, participated in the visit.
