The 3rd and final session of leadership training for the tea tribe youth was held under the theme ‘Youth Leaders for Holistic Transformation’ at Youth Oasis Center, Dimapur from November 25 to 27. Youth leaders representing 54 churches of AVBM participated in the training which was jointly organized by NEALEAST (Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education & Social Transformation) and AVBM (Assam Valley Baptist Mission). The resource persons were Imli P Lemtur, Jorhat; Er Temsuwathi, Mariani; Rev Dr Rabi Pame, Dimapur; and Rev Dr Takatemjen, Mokokchung. Completion certificates were awarded to all the participants of the training.
ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema, Dr Girsh Patil and Principal of Patkai Christian College, Chümoukedima, Dr Thepfuvilie Pieru signed an MoU on November 28 for jointly undertaking various research programmes. Others present during the signing of MoU were Dr Nazrul Haque, Pr Scientist and Dr Sapunii Stephen Hanah Sr Scientist from ICAR-NRC on Mithun and Dr Angel Sonari, Vice Principal, PCC and Dr Reingamla Tetso, Dean of Science from PCC.
Department of Rural Development organised a farewell programme in honour of its outgoing officers at RD Conference Hall, Directorate of Rural Development on November 28. The outgoing officers included joint director, Gwasinlo Thong, joint director, L Repanungba, deputy director, Hisinle Kent, executive engineer, Er Thokpen Phom, RDO, Japra Swuro and assistant superintendent Noketole.

Nagaland Forest Management Project, Divisional Management Unit Kohima along with Dr Anshida K, MBBS, MD Ophthalmology (AIIMS Delhi) organised free health camp at Terogvunyu village on November 27. During the camp, the village members availed facilities such as eye check up, Blood Pressure, sugar level test and arthritis along with free medicines and prescriptions.
