Kohima, November 29 (MExN): Nagaland along with the rest of the world will be observing World AIDS Day on December 1 under the theme “Live Life Positively, Know Your HIV Status.”
It will take place at 12:00 noon at High School Junction Kohima. Kenneth I. Juster, US Ambassador to India will grace the occasion. Minister for health and family welfare S. Pangnyu Phom will be the chief patron.
Short speech will be delivered by Dr. Melissa Nyendak, Branch Chief, Prevention, Care & Treatment- CDC India. Keynote address will be delivered by I. Himato Zhimomi, Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and chairman Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) while vote of thanks will be proposed by Dr. Ngangshimeren, project director, NSACS.
