The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) will be holding Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026 from April 7 to 18 at Kohima, Chümoukedima and Dimapur.
Football will commence from April 7 while all other disciplines will commence from April 14.
NOA stated that the list of disciplines recognized by Nagaland Olympic Association has been determined as per the proposed forthcoming 4th North East Games 2026 and taking into consideration the available infrastructure and resources.
The disciplines includes; Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Pencak Silat, Taekwondo and Wushu.
Each concerned Sports Association will be issued a competition notification separately.
A separate notification related to the Paralympic discipline will be notified by the Paralympic Committee.
The list of medal events for all the discipline will be notified separately. The contingents will be as per the 17 districts of Nagaland.
Registration of players and teams will be done electronically (online) commencing from March 20 and the last date for submission of players and officials registration will be April 1.
All district have been requested to appoint 1 Chef de Mission, 1 Deputy Chef de Mission.
The names, contact numbers and email addresses of the officials may be sent to the NOA on nagaolym@gmail.com latest by March 17, according to a notification issued by Abu Metha, Secretary General NOA and Neivikuolie Khatsu, Assistant Secretary General, NOA.
