NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 14 (MExN): The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) began at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on November 14, with Joint Secretary, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, Mercy Epao inaugurating the Nagaland Pavilion.
She was accompanied by Joint Resident Commissioner, Nagaland House, New Delhi, Sharon Longchari; Joint Director and Pavilion Director, Industries & Commerce Department, K. Hekavi Francis; officials from various departments; OSD, Planning & Transformation Department, Thomas Thailu; Senior Manager, NHD, Koko Metha; Registrar, NHD, Anup Rawat; and UDA, NHD, Atale Kezo.
Following the inauguration, Epao visited the stalls at the State Pavilion and interacted with exhibitors. She encouraged them to avail benefits offered by the Ministry of MSME, particularly in branding and design schemes.
The pavilion showcases a range of products from Nagaland, including handlooms, handicrafts, food products, and dry flowers.
The 14-day trade fair, which concludes on November 27, features participation from 12 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, China, South Korea, Iran and Egypt. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Bihar are the partner states, while Jharkhand is the focus state.
