The Photo Exhibition on Jerusalem ‘Transcending Jerusalem through Indian Lenses’ was inaugurated at Bamboo Hall, Kisama on December 5.
The exhibition is organized by Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) in collaboration with Embassy of Israel in India as part of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland.
The photo exhibition displayed various photos of Jerusalem. Some of the photo inscribed “Jerusalem is the house of the one God, the capital of two peoples, the temple of three religions and she is the only city to exist twice - in heaven and on earth…”
Abu Metha, advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland described exhibition as “very significant” as it highlights the partnership between the Government of Nagaland, the Naga people and the Government of Israel through the Embassy of Israel in India.
He appreciated the Ambassador of Israel to India for his support.
Under his leadership, the Government of Nagaland and Israel is working on several programmes, he said.
TaFMA advisor Theja Meru also spoke at the inaugural programme. Earlier, Rev KN Kele invoked God’s blessing.
The exhibition will continue till December 10 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.
