Nagaland Police receives 4 ambulances from NHIDCL

Kohima, October 5 (MExN): The Nagaland Police received 4 ambulances from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) on October 1.

The Director General of Police Nagaland received the ambulances from the Executive Director, NHIDCL, the State DIPR reported citing a press release from PRO, PHQ.

The ambulances were given under the NHIDCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. 

As per the report, the ambulances are of higher end with basic life support equipments and each comes equipped with emergency apparatus such as oxygen cylinders, manual resuscitator, electric portable suction aspirator with airflow, automatic external defibrillator, BP/heart-rate and saturation monitor along with other emergency kits.

MS Deol, Executive Director, NHIDCL, Kohima Office, while handing over the ambulances, also highlighted various initiatives taken up by the corporation towards social upliftment in Nagaland. 

Deol also informed that  a project for setting up of public utilities for the use of women and children along the National Highways in the State is also being conceived wherein NHIDCL would construct public utilities in Nagaland Police owned land provided by the Director General of Police Nagaland, the report said. 

DGP Nagaland also expressed his gratitude to NHIDCL for the gesture towards Nagaland Police, it added.
