The Police Recruitment Rally for Zunheboto district commenced on January 7 at the Police Reserve Ground, DEF Zunheboto.
A total of 2,648 candidates are participating in the recruitment process, competing for 102 posts. Of these, 2,397 are males and 251 are females.
According to Superintendent of Police, Zunheboto, Dr Kupe Kapfo, out of the 102 posts available, 90 are reserved for male candidates and 12 for female candidates.
On the first day of the rally, the initial batch of 750 candidates underwent the Physical Efficiency and Medical Tests.

The recruitment rally is scheduled to be conducted over four days, from January 7 to January 10.
Candidates who successfully qualify in the physical and medical examinations will be eligible to appear for the written examination, scheduled to be held on January 20 at Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto.
The recruitment drive has witnessed enthusiastic participation from aspirants across the district, reflecting strong interest in joining the police force.
