Kohima, January 9 (MExN): The recruitment process for female candidates in Zunheboto is scheduled separately on January 10, even as the Nagaland Police recruitment rally continued for the third day across various districts in the State on Friday.
Meanwhile, on the third day in Zunheboto, the screening of candidates bearing chest numbers from 1608 to 2645 was conducted at the Police Reserve Ground, Zunheboto.
As per the State DIPR, officials also clarified that the range of chest numbers screened on the third day does not directly reflect the exact number of candidates examined, as the chest numbering system also includes female candidates.
The clarification was issued to avoid confusion regarding attendance and screening figures, as chest numbers are allotted collectively for administrative convenience rather than day-wise participation, it added.
The third day of the Nagaland Police recruitment was conducted at the Parade Ground, Noklak, on January 9.
Candidates who qualify in the medical standard and physical tests will be shortlisted for the written examination based on the ratio fixed by the Departmental Recruitment Board.
The written examination will be held on January 20 at Christian High School, Noklak.
Similar rallies were also held in Kihpire.
