Dimapur, July 6 (MExN): Nagaland reported 60 fresh COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the number of active cases to 1,134 and cumulative tally to 25,619.
Kohima reported the highest number of new cases with 17, followed by Dimapur with 11 and Phek with 8 cases. Mokokchung also reported 6 cases, Wokha (5), Kiphire (3), Mon (3), Peren (2), Phek (2), Zunheboto (2) and Longleng (1). The daily positivity rate stood at 5.38 percent on July 6.
Four more fatalities—3 from Dimapur and 1 from Wokha, were reported in the state on Tuesday taking the death toll to 489.
According to the health department’s daily bulletin, a total of 113 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered cases to 23,271.
