Mon, December 16 (MExN): The Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB) new branch at Wakching in Mon district was formally dedicated on on December 13 last. The programme commenced with an invocation prayer and a welcome address by S. Longnyei Konyak, SDO (Civil), Wakching, stated a DIPR report.
Chairman of Nagaland Rural Bank, Velayutham Sadhasivam, addressed the gathering and highlighted the bank’s commitment to strengthening rural banking and promoting financial inclusion in the region.
Advisor for Geology & Mining and DUDA, W Chingang Konyak, attended the event as the special guest.
The programme was chaired by branch manager Atai Konyak. Speeches were also delivered by village leaders and other officials. Y Taiching Konyak, President, Konyak Union (Wakching Unit), proposed the vote of thanks before the event concluded with a benediction.
