Nagaland schools to submit vaccination status of staffers

Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) has directed heads of all government and private schools functioning within the state of Nagaland to submit COVID-19 vaccination status of its staffers from July 27 onwards.

An order to this effect was issued through the state DIPR on Friday asking school heads to submit COVID-19 vaccination status of teaching and non-teaching staff serving under their establishments every Tuesday/Wednesday at the Online School Monitoring Portal (https://school.dosenl.in/), commencing from July 27, till further orders.
Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Sainik Schools were however exempted from the order. 

All private schools, including schools following CBSE curriculum, and Eklavya Model Residential Schools have been directed to complete one time registration at the aforementioned portal and start submitting the Vaccination Status from the aforesaid date. The State Government Schools shall upload the data at the link provided in the School Monitoring Portal where they have been submitting the Daily Activity Reports, the order stated.

Further the DoSE stated that the Online School Monitoring Supervisors shall monitor the data submission and ensure that all government schools under their jurisdiction submit the data within the due dates. In case of network issues faced by government schools located in remote and rural areas, the supervisors shall collect the data from the respective school heads and upload the same at the portal. The data is required to be submitted to the Ministry of Education on weekly basis and hence all concerned are directed to furnish accurate data every Tuesday/Wednesday without fail, it added.
