Members of the Nagaland Sepaktakraw Team, which won two medals at the 2nd Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) held at Daman & Diu from January 5 to 10.
Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Sepaktakraw Team delivered a commendable performance, winning two bronze medals at the recently concluded 2nd Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) held at Daman & Diu from January 5 to 10.
The men’s team won the bronze medal in the Regu event. The team comprised Mudotsu Dozo, Khele, Kevisaho Neikha, Neikuo Sorhie.
The women’s team secured the bronze medal in the Quad event. The team included Sezovelu Dozo, Menenu Tsukru, Jwensinle Kesen, Tiajungla, Akumtila, Thujono. The contingent was led by Puleno Neikha as coach and Hopson Sumi as manager.
The team received financial support from the Nagaland Department of Youth Resources & Sports, according to a press release received here.
